The result is a surface with visual depth that drywall or paint simply cannot achieve.

Yes. Tadelakt — a traditional Moroccan lime plaster — is specifically designed for wet areas like showers, bathtubs, and sinks. It is naturally waterproof when properly applied and burnished with a river stone. We also use sealed lime plaster and cement plaster for bathroom walls and ceilings. Combined with our custom tile shower work, plaster creates a seamless, spa-like bathroom environment.

Properly applied Venetian and lime plaster can last decades — often outliving the building itself. Unlike paint which chips, peels, and yellows, lime plaster actually strengthens over time through a process called carbonation. The material slowly re-absorbs CO2 and reverts to limestone. It is one of the most durable wall finishes available, which is why it has been used continuously since ancient Rome.

Lime plaster is an excellent choice for Montana homes. It is naturally breathable, allowing moisture vapor to pass through the wall rather than getting trapped behind it — a critical advantage during Flathead Valley winters when temperature differentials between indoors and outdoors create condensation risk.
